Hi, I'm Colin

I'm an eighteen year old writer majoring in English and Interdisciplinary Linguistics at The University of Winnipeg. I spend my free time either with my four rats, or following my creative endeavours. My work tends to circle around psychological horror, queerness, being socially othered, and explorations of different kinds of relationships. These pieces are often short form—whether that entails prose, poetry, or short stories.

A little about me: I hail from Drumheller, Alberta, and am the oldest of two siblings. My biggest values in life are my family, finding truth in the world, and making sure that happiness is a core component in everybody's life. To me, the point of writing is saying what you cannot conversationally—baring yourself to the world in hopes of building connection and community.
